From Aphelios showing off his sick guns, to Vayne top lane shenanigans, and a dramatic backdoor, LPL Spring Split 2020 delivered an entertaining spectacle.
Relive the most amazing moments with our top 5 picks from the regular season:
5. LokeN and Yagao fearlessly 2v5
Low on health, DMO were unable to complete the team kill, and were forced to retreat into their jungle. Barely surviving the poke from Lee “LokeN” Dong-wook’s Aphelios, Zeng “Yagao” Qi took that as a cue to charge in on Sylas.
Flashing into five members of DMO, LokeN followed up with his own flash and together with Yagao took down four members of DMO, completely turning the team fight around.
4. Rookie puts on an Orianna clinic in a 1v3 against RNG
Combining Orianna’s spells and auto attacks, Song “Rookie” Eui-jin outmanoeuvred three members of Royal Never Give Up, killing two in the process.
After nuking Li “XLB” Xiao-Long’s Rek’sai, he created distance between two chasing members of RNG with Hextech GLP-800’s active. In a quick turn of events, he finished off XLB before surviving Xie “Langx” Zhen-Ying’s and Shi “Ming” Sen-Ming’s combined damage.
With 645 AP on Orianna, Rookie used the little mana he had left to pick off Shi “Ming” Sen-Ming’s Rakan before falling to minions and a last Bellows Breath.

3. Asura 1v2s Weiyan and Crazy thanks to the power of the Ocean Soul
As his team ran down mid to end the game, Lu “Asura” Qi’s Aphelios searched for the two remaining members of RW to stop their recalls and deny them any chance of defending their Nexus.
With Severum, the Scythe Pistol and the power of the Ocean Soul – where dealing damage to enemies heals the user and restores mana over three seconds – he was healed additionally for 20% of damage dealt.
If that wasn’t enough, Asura also had a Bloodthirster and Mercurial Scimitar that boosted his lifesteal even more. Talk about unkillable.
2. TheShy flanks on Vayne for a triple kill
Su “Southwind” Zhi-Lin started the fight with a Death Sentence on Li “XLB” Xiao-Long’s Olaf. However, keep your eyes on Kang “TheShy” Seung-lok. Dodging Dredge Line, he took down Nautilus to 10% HP.
He then avoided Death’s Grasp with Tumble, buying him time to focus on RNG’s AD carry Lu “Betty” Yu-Hung who was locked down by Varus’ ultimate.
In Mordekaiser’s Realm of Death, TheShy continued to kite perfectly, and finished him off while the rest of his team collapsed on RNG.
1. Invictus Gaming’s insane backdoor against Rogue Warriors
There aren’t many back doors that can top this one. Toward the end of deciding game three, iG took down the last standing inhibitor and the two remaining Nexus turrets.
With low health bars on Su “Southwind” Zhi-Lin and Gao “Ning” Zhen-Ning, the team was forced to retreat. It was in that split second that iG made the clutch call to use Tahm Kench’s Abyssal Voyage to send their ADC Ding “Puff” Wang into the back of RW’s base for a thrilling series win.
