Intense mobile esports action is coming to the ESL One Hamburg mainstage as the first Clash of Clans (COC) World Championship is set to join the weekend-long gaming festivities.
Supercell announced that the culmination of its thrilling six-month-long global tournament will be part of Europe’s biggest Dota 2 festival. The event will take place on October 25-27 at the Barclaycard Arena.
Eight global COC teams will compete for a whopping US$1 million prize pool.
Four teams have already earned their seat in the COC World Championship from previous monthly qualifier events that kicked off in March. Already in the running are Tribe Gaming (North America), Team Queso (Spain), Vatang (South Korea), and QueeN Walkers (Japan).
The next Clash of Clans Qualifier kicks off on July 12, with over 300 teams competing for the fifth Golden Ticket to the World Championship stage.
