He can shut down enemies with just a few basic attacks, thanks to his passive skill that increases his critical chance.
In this in-depth ONE Esports guide, you will learn how to master playing this football-inspired hero, empowering you to kick your way to victory.
Bruno’s skills in Mobile Legends
Passive – Mecha Legs
Bruno gains extra Crit Chance each time he deals damage with his skills (up to several stacks). Bruno has higher Physical Attack but only gains a certain percentage of extra Attack Speed from all sources.
- The stacks of Mecha Legs last for several seconds. The duration resets when you attack a unit.
- To maintain the stacks even in the absence of enemy heroes or minions, hit a nearby jungle creep.
First skill – Volley Shot
Bruno kicks a Powerball on his next Basic Attack, dealing Physical Damage to the target and slowing them for a duration. The Powerball then bounces back toward Bruno and lands on the ground. He or allied heroes can retrieve the Powerball , after which he can perform another enhanced Basic Attack and have the cooldown of Flying Tackle Flying Tackle reduced by a second.
- Get Volley Shot at the start of the game, and use it to pressure your opponent early.
- Prioritize maxing out this skill, as it is his primary source of damage.
- The Powerball can only be retrieved from the ground for a few seconds, otherwise it will disappear.
- If you’re farming in the lane, always retrieve the Powerball to preserve your mana.
- You can have two Powerballs at a time. To achieve this, wait for Volley Shot to come off cooldown, then cast it again while your initial Powerball is in the air. Use this strategy to quickly take down turrets and other major objectives, such as the Lord and Turtle.
Second skill – Flying Tackle
Bruno makes a slide tackle in the target direction dealing Physical Damage to enemies in his path and stunning them for a duration. If the Powerball is bouncing back, Bruno also draws the Powerball toward him.
- Flying Tackle is Bruno’s mobility skill. Use it to chase down opponents, reposition in team fights, or get out of dangerous situations.
- Remember, you can pass through walls using this spell.
- You can also use this to launch a surprise attack by swiftly stunning your target.
Ultimate – Worldie
Bruno kicks his Energy Ball at the target enemy hero, Physical Damage and knocking them back. The Energy Ball then bounces between nearby enemies up to a certain number of times, each time dealing Physical Damage. Each hit also reduces the enemy’s Physical Defense by a percentage for a duration (up to several number of stacks).
- Unleash Worldie at the start of engagements to reduce the enemies’ physical defense, giving your team a significant advantage.
- Use this to push back an approaching opponent, enabling you to fight back or continue with your escape.
- You can also use this to clear minions effectively. Target an enemy hero near the wave, and let the ball bounce between them.
A comprehensive guide on how to play Bruno in Mobile Legends
Recommended battle spell
Playing as Bruno, it is advisable to choose Flicker as your battle spell. It offers an extra mobility tool, allowing you to retreat to safety, reposition in fights, or chase down foes.
Alternatively, select Inspire. Inspire significantly boosts attack speed and enhances basic attacks, which complements Bruno’s passive skill, Mecha Legs. This passive increases his critical chance and damage, allowing him to deal substantial burst damage during engagements.
Recommended emblem
Assassin emblem is the most optimal choice, as it grants you substantial Adaptive Penetration, Adaptive Attack, and Movement Speed.
Alternatively, you can opt for the Common emblem to get Hybrid Regen, HP, and Adaptive Attack.
Either way, go for Fatal as your first talent to get bonus Crit Chance, and Tenacity for your second tier talent to boost your survivability at low HP.
For your core talent, Quantum Charge is an excellent choice. It provides you with periodic movement speed boost and HP restoration upon dealing damage with basic attacks.
Bruno best build
As a damage dealer for your team, focusing on enhancing your physical attack and critical damage is essential.
After getting boots, prioritize purchasing Haas’ Claws to significantly increase your lifesteal and critical chance.
Upgrade to Tough Boots, then acquire Berserker’s Fury to amplify your physical attack and critical damage.
To further boost your damage output and attack range, buy Malefic Gun. Then, invest in Windtalker to improve your attack speed, movement speed, and crit chance.
Finally, purchase Malefic Roar to increase your penetration. This is especially useful in the late game, when enemy heroes have already purchased their Physical Defense equipment.
If magic defense is a priority, you can replace your Malefic Roar with Athena’s Shield or Rose Gold Meteor.
