One of the strongest roamers in MPL Philippines is now taking his talents to Indonesia next season.
Former ECHO superstar Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera is now part of Aura Fire, the organization announced on its YouTube page today.
He will be the first Filipino player to represent the organization since joining the league in MPL Indonesia Season 5.
Yawi strengthens Aura Fire’s roster for MPL ID Season 13
The 22-year-old brings substantial experience to the already formidable Aura Fire squad.
In Season 10, he played a pivotal role in securing ECHO a slot at the M4 World Championship.
During M4, he led the team to its historic first-ever world championship victory against the powerhouse Blacklist International in the grand final in a remarkable 4-0 sweep.
Following this triumph, ECHO continued their success in MPL PH Season 11 by securing another win against Blacklist International in the grand final series, sweeping them once again.
However, after failing to qualify for the grand final at MSC 2023, Yawi took a backseat in Season 12 and was replaced by Jaypee “Jaypee” Cruz in the starting five.
The superstar roamer will join forces with Aura veterans Jehuda Jordan “High” Sumual and Leonardo Prasetyo “Kabuki” Agung for Season 13.
