Blacklist International is partnering with a prominent international esports team for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Development League Philippines Season 2 (MDL PH Season 2).

Blacklist International’s MDL team, Blacklist Academy, will be teaming up with Malaysian esports organization Team Lunatix, the organization announced on Facebook.

This comes days after Blacklist CEO Tryke “Tryke” Gutierrez said on YouTube that Blacklist has collaborated with another esports entity to manage its MDL team.

“When we created Blacklist Academy, we envisioned a platform to shine a light on up-and-coming players and [organizations] in the esports space,” the organization wrote.

“We believe that Lunatix is a great fit for this goal as we work with the MDL to help develop rising talent and lend a hand in building a more sustainable esports landscape for everyone.”

Team Lunatix currently fields a roster in MPL Malaysia since Season 10.

This isn’t the first time Blacklist International has joined forces with an international esports team. Last year, the team announced that it has partnered with G2 Esports for its Wild Rift team.

The starting MDL roster has yet to be confirmed. All we know so far is that Lunatix wrote in a Facebook post that the lineup will comprise Filipino players.

In the inaugural MDL PH season, Blacklist finished in 3rd-4th place after losing to GameLab in the semifinal.
