Blacklist International added another achievement to its portfolio after a dominant performance at SIBOL’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang PH qualifiers yesterday, July 10, for the upcoming International Esports Federation’s 14th World Esports Championship (IESF WEC).
The roster, which comprised the original Blacklist members that won the M3 World Championship, dominated the second phase of the tournament to secure a ticket to the Philippines Combine. They will be joined by MHRLK Esports from July 15 to 17.
This is the first time fans got the see the Blacklist International’s M3 roster compete in a tournament together this year. We last saw them in December last year during the MLBB world championship.

Blacklist International and MHRLK Esports secure a slot for the PH combine
Blacklist International were directly invited to the second phase of the qualifiers along with Smart Omega and MSC 2022 champion RSG PH.
Smart Omega were eliminated by ECHO Proud, 2-0, in their first series while RSG PH declined to participate in the tournament.
Blacklist showed their unmatched chemistry after breezing through their first two best-of-three series against AP Esports Hybrid and Minana. They suffered their first loss in the next round of the tournament at the hands of Euphoria Esports. Their team’s midlaner, YUJIN GOD, had pulled his weight on Xavier.
Down one game, the black and white squad clapped back in games two and three. Edward “EDWARD” Dapadap took control of game two with his signature Esmeralda pick, while Salic “Hadji” Imam proved that he is still the KDA machine with a flawless 5/0/7 MVP performance on Valentina in the decider.
The grand final against MHRLK Esports was just as intense. Both teams were equally matched up until the 13-minute mark when three members of MHRLK were killed in a team fight. This prompted Blacklist International to rush down midlane to secure the first game.
MHRLK Esports took the second game after the amateur team secured the Enhanced Lord 16 minutes in. They then went to the top lane to eliminate Kiel “OHEB” Soriano’s Beatrix. With Blacklist International’s main damage dealer gone and the Enhanced Lord summoned at top, MHRLK ignored all other members Blacklist and went straight to the base.
The deciding game was a one-sided affair for the M3 World Champions, as they only gave up one tower in the 16-minute game, and held a steady 10,000 gold lead from mid to late game. OHEB’s Bruno stepped up in game three, finishing with a positive 7/2/5 KDA.
With Blacklist International’s victory, head coach Kristoffer “Coach BON CHAN” Ricaplaza will lead the MLBB SIBOL squad at the IESF WEC tournament happening on December 1 to 12 in Bali, Indonesia.
He will also determine the final lineup of the PH delegation in the Philippine Combine, a 3-day showcase where players from the qualified teams showoff their in-game skills for a chance to get picked for the official MLBB SIBOL roster.
BON CHAN has the option to mix and match the players from Blacklist and MHRLK Esports, depending on the results of the Philippine Combine.
