One of esports’ strongest regions is entering the battle for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
China will be given a slot for the M5 Wild Card, Moonton Games announced on Facebook.
This marks a historic milestone as China gears up for its inaugural participation in a Mobile Legends: Bang Bang world championship qualifier.
This announcement follows closely on the heels of the game’s recent licensing approval in the country, adding to the anticipation surrounding their debut on the global esports stage.

One team from China will represent the region at the M5 Wild Card qualifiers

Moonton will give the Wild Card slot to one of these four teams: Longlong Gaming, Nova Esports, Keep Best Gaming, or Mi Ya Gaming.
The chosen team will compete against teams from various regions such as South Asia, Mongolia, Malaysia, MENA, and more.
This is Moonton’s first use of a Wild Card format to grant one tournament slot. The tournament will include eight teams, with two earning a spot at the M5 World Championship.

The event is slated for November in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
