Esports powerhouse Team Vitality has acquired Indonesian esports organization Bigetron Esports, the organization announced today.
This acquisition marks a pivotal moment in Team Vitality’s ambition to become a truly international esports entity, granting them a substantial entry into the burgeoning mobile gaming market across new regions.
The deal with Bigetron Esports, a globally recognized force in mobile gaming, positions Team Vitality to significantly bolster its presence within this dynamic sector and extend its brand reach throughout Southeast Asia.
This move underscores Team Vitality’s ongoing commitment to establishing a comprehensive and multifaceted presence across the entire esports landscape.
Bigetron by Vitality is Team Vitality’s strategic foray into Southeast Asia and mobile gaming

This acquisition places Team Vitality within the high-potential Southeast Asian gaming market. Indonesia, with its vast population exceeding 270 million, of which over 30% are under the age of 30, presents a vibrant and deeply engaged esports audience.
The nation boasts over 100 million gamers, ranking as the fourth-largest gaming market globally. Notably, Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia, is experiencing rapid growth in mobile gaming, demonstrating an impressive 20% year-over-year revenue increase, the organization explained.
As part of this integration, Bigetron Esports’ brand identity is rebranded to “Bigetron by Vitality“.

Edwin Chia, CEO of Bigetron Esports, will collaborate closely with Nicolas Maurer, Co-Founder and CEO of Team Vitality, and Danny Engels, Corporate Director of Global Operations, to spearhead Vitality’s mobile gaming division.
Bigetron Esports has cultivated a formidable reputation within the mobile gaming sphere, boasting an impressive social media footprint of over 6.8 million followers across platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp.
Bigetron also stands out as one of the few Southeast Asian organizations with a well-established presence across four key mobile gaming titles, a strong history of competitive success, and existing partnerships with industry giants Moonton and Tencent.
As part of the acquisition, all Bigetron social media channels will be rebranded to Bigetron by Vitality, integrating into the wider Team Vitality network.
