For the first time, Mekong is granted two slots in the tournament, allowing them to showcase their talent against rising teams from China, Mongolia, and Turkey.

What is the M6 Wildcard?
The M6 Wildcard serves as a prelude to the M6 World Championship, occurring just days before the main event. In this tournament, eight teams compete for the highly sought-after slot in the M6 Swiss Stage.
This slot is available to the runner-ups from various MPL leagues, along with promising teams from emerging regions, such as Mongolia and China.
M6 Wildcard format
In the group stage, the eight qualified teams are randomly drawn into two groups.
These teams compete in a single round-robin format All matches played are best-of-threes. The top team from each group advances to the Decider Stage.
The Decider Stage raises the stakes, as the remaining teams face off in high-intensity best-of-five matches. The winner of this stage earns their spot in the Swiss Stage, marking a critical step forward in the competition.
