The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup is MLBB’s biggest regional tournament, where top teams from Southeast Asia battle it out.
The Philippines currently has the most championship titles which they earned in 2018, 2021, and 2022, followed by Indonesia in 2019 and 2023, Thailand in 2017, and Malaysia in 2024.

The tournament was postponed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic but was brought back the year after utilizing an online tournament format.
Non-MPL regions are also included in the tournament. Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, and other regions in Southeast Asia have at least one qualified team in previous MSC tournaments. Thailand’s IDONOTSLEEP surprised by bagging the championship in 2017.

The MLBB Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) burst onto the scene in 2017, marking the debut of Moonton’s first official MLBB Major tournament. Jakarta, Indonesia, became the battleground as eight fierce teams clashed for supremacy.
IDONOTSLEEP from Thailand emerged as the first-ever MSC winners, defeating Salty Salad in a 3-0 sweep in the grand finals.

In 2018, the MSC returned to Jakarta, Indonesia. Aether Main dominated the All-Filipino grand finals, delivering a crushing 3-0 sweep against their compatriots, Digital Devils Pro.
With their flawless performance, Aether Main seized the first-ever championship for the Philippines, igniting the country’s dominance in the esports scene.

ONIC Esports secured the MSC 2019 title in Manila with a dominant 3-0 sweep over Louvre Esports, capping off a near-perfect tournament run.
This team commonly known as the ONIC Kage’s showcased impeccable chemistry in the entire tournament. This allowed them to run over teams like Burmese Ghouls, WAWA Gaming, and former champions, IDNS.
The win earned them the lion’s share of the $120,000 prize pool, with Sasa taking home the MVP award.

In 2021, the MSC witnessed an epic all-Filipino Grand Final as Blacklist International clashed with Execration.

Indonesia’s ONIC Esports made history by becoming the first team to become two-time MSC winners, defeating Blacklist International 4-2 in an intense grand final.
The Yellow Hedgehogs showcased their mastery of the objective-centered meta, with Kiboy being the center of the Indonesian’s lethal attack. His crucial crowd control using heroes like Franco and his signature Chou anchored the team versus a solid Blacklist team.
