A hero that doesn’t rely on mana, his skills are only tied down by cooldowns — and your ability to execute them.
Here’s an in-depth ONE Esports guide to help you master the Heavenly Fist, and win games in MLBB.
Paquito’s skills in Mobile Legends
Passive – Champ Stance
After every three skill casts, Paquito enters the Champ Stance, gaining an enhanced skill ignoring his current cooldowns. He gains extra movement speed that decays over a few seconds after casting the enhanced skill.
Paquito’s basic attacks deal less damage.
- Similar to previous recently released heroes like Mathilda, Benedetta, Barats, and Yu Zhong, Paquito’s kit is defined by his passive, so pay attention.
- At the maximum four stacks, all his skills will be enhanced and available immediately, even if they were on cooldown. This is what makes Paquito so powerful, for he can continually chain skills and auto attacks without being constrained by mana.
- Choosing which enhanced skill to use in varied situations and times sets you apart from the pack.
- Once you consume the empowered charge, it resets the passive stacking process.
- Use the increased movement speed to chase down and stick to opponents.
First skill – Heavy Left Punch
Paquito throws a punch in the target direction, dealing physical damage to enemies hit. If this skill hits an enemy hero or jungle creep, he will also gain a shield for a few seconds.
Champ Stance: The damage and shield value are increased. The normal and enhanced shields can stack.
- This is the only defensive skill in his kit, for it gives you a shield upon dealing damage to an enemy hero.
- Time your Heavy Left Punch such that it absorbs the most damage from a key enemy spell for maximum effect.
Second skill – Jab
Paquito dashes in the target direction and throws a jab, dealing physical damage to enemies hit. He will stop and throw the jab immediately upon colliding with an enemy hero or jungle creep during the dash.
Champ Stance: The damage is greatly increased.
- As this is his dash ability, max this skill first to have a lower cooldown.
- In Champ Stance, this skill does the most damage, so it’s important to aim and land it on your target.
- Jab and your ultimate are gap closers, so aim to open combos with this skill.
Ultimate – Knockout Strike
Paquito launches an elbow strike in the target direction, dealing physical damage to enemies hit and knocking them back. He then throws a haymaker, dealing bigger damage to enemies hit and slowing them for one second, as he darts backward.
Champ Stance: Instead of a haymaker, he launches an uppercut after the elbow strike, dealing massive physical damage to enemies hit and knocking them airborne.
- Benedetta’s first skill, Phantom Slash, has the same mechanic which launches the hero forward, then back to the original position.
- Knockout Strike pushes the target backwards and slows enemy units down. In Champ Stance, it not only does more damage, it also knocks them airborne, functioning as his only hard crowd control.
A comprehensive guide on how to play Paquito in Mobile Legends
Recommended battle spell
Since Paquito is all about sticking to targets, taking Flicker as your battle spell increases his offensive capabilities.
Alternatively, since he’s already a very mobile hero, Execute will help you finish off enemies if your combo does not.
Additionally, if you’re playing as a jungler, select Retribution, which enables you to effectively clear creeps, and secure the Turtle and Lord objectives.
Recommended emblem
Naturally, the Fighter emblem works best with the boxer. It grants significant spell vamp, adaptive attack, and hybrid defense, resulting in great sustainability in fights.
If you want higher damage, choose the Assassin emblem, which provides substantial adaptive penetration, adaptive attack, and movement speed.

The 3 best heroes to counter Paquito in Mobile Legends |
Select Agility in the first tier for additional movement speed, and Festival of Blood in the second tier for more spell vamp.
In the last tier, pick Quantum Charge. This core talent periodically restores a certain amount of your HP, and increases your movement speed, enabling you to chase down your target.
However, if you want to deal more damage, opt for Lethal Ignition, which allows you to inflict extra adaptive damage when you execute your skill combos.
Paquito best build
Like most fighters, a hybrid build of damage, cooldown reduction, and defense works best on Paquito.
Adapt your boots according to the enemy team’s line up, and buy Bloodlust Axe as your first core item to further boost your spell vamp. Follow up with Hunter Strike for more physical attack, CD reduction, and physical penetration.
Then, purchase Brute Force Breastplate and Oracle to fortify your defense as well as maximum CD reduction.
Consider investing in Immortality to increase your survivability. Conversely, if your team holds a significant advantage, you can amplify your damage by buying Malefic Roar or Blade of Despair.
The best build for Paquito in Mobile Legends
- Tough Boots/Warrior Boots (Ice Retribution if you’re a jungler)
- Bloodlust Axe
- Hunter Strike
- Brute Force Breastplate
- Oracle
- Immortality
Easy combos to learn
Your ultimate does the most damage, followed by your second skill. Since his passive refreshes the cooldown of all skills, you can use the same skill twice in a row at max stacks (Enhanced Stance).
As such, your primary combo should open with Knockout Strike twice, followed by Jab then Heavy Left Punch.
Of course, if you’re not at max stacks, you’ll have to build up to this combo starting with Jab, followed by Heavy Left Punch. Just remember to clinch the double ultimate cast in Enhanced Stance mode!
