Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and ECHO emerged as the big winners during the inaugural Mobile Gaming Awards (MOBIES 2023) held in Los Angeles, California over the weekend.
This prestigious event honored the top mobile gaming and esports titles that made remarkable advancements within the industry throughout the past year.
Together, Mobile Legends and ECHO dominated the awards night by securing a total of four awards across four different categories.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and ECHO took home four MOBIES 2023 awards
After a rigorous selection process, finalists were chosen by a panel based on specific criteria for each category, followed by a voting period and results verification.
Community votes held a 25 percent weight, while the panel’s votes carried 75 percent significance in determining the winners.
Moonton’s highly-acclaimed title, Mobile Legends, secured the Competitive Game of the Year award, while their flagship tournament, the M4 World Championship, was honored as the Mobile Esports Tournament of the Year.
Moonton’s Public Relations head Kelly Chiew graciously accepted the awards on behalf of the team and expressed her gratitude.
“Our success would not have been made possible without the support of our fans, partners, and more importantly our team that has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the magic happen,” she said.
M4 World Champions, ECHO, were acknowledged as the Mobile Team of the Year.
Additionally, one of ECHO’s players, Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales, earned the title of Mobile Player of the Year.
In a recorded speech, Bennyqt said he was overwhelmed to receive such as a prestigious award.
“My journey was not easy, but having all the support made it all worth it,” he said. “I dedicate this win to my family, friends, teammates, and all of my fans.”
Additional recipients of awards were Genshin Impact, winning the Mobile Game of the Year accolade, Playdead’s Limbo, honored as the Indie Mobile Game of the Year, and Marvel Snap acknowledged as the Mobile Breakthrough Game of the Year.
