You might want to think twice if you’re planning to sell your MPL PH Season 10 tickets at a much higher price.
This is because ticket scalpers will pay hefty fines and face possible jail time if caught, according to Moonton in a Facebook post.
This comes after tickets for the second, third, and fourth day of playoffs were sold out within minutes after they were released yesterday morning, prompting some to resell their tickets at a steep markup on various social media platforms.
Fans are understandably eager to watch the playoffs, which run from October 20 to 23 at Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan, Robinsons Bridgetowne in Quezon City. After all, this is the first time the league has opened its doors to a live audience in the playoffs since Season 4.

According to Moonton, the penalties are in accordance with the laws of Quezon City, where the playoffs will be held.
First-time offenders will need to pay PHP5,000 (US$84) or face jail time, depending on the severity. If caught the second time, offenders will need to pay the fine again and be imprisoned for one year.
“MPL Philippines encourages everyone to buy tickets from our official ticket merchant,” they wrote. “See you in the playoffs!”
At the time of writing, match 1 gold and silver passes, and match 2 silver passes for day one are still up for grabs on Ticket2Me, the league’s official ticket merchant.
On the first day, RSG PH will face off against ONIC PH in the opening match at 1 p.m. GMT+8, followed by Smart Omega versus Bren Esports at 5 p.m. GMT+8.
