The strongest MLBB teams in the Philippines will duke out at the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines Season 12 (MPL PH Season 12).
The season saw significant changes, notably the absence of Blacklist International key players like Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna and Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario.
Moreover, Bren Esports joined forces with the powerhouse amateur team AP Esports to form AP Bren.
Meanwhile, defending champions ECHO retained their lineup, welcoming veteran Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz to their already stacked roster.

What is MPL PH?
MPL Philippines is the official Mobile Legends league in the Philippines, hosted by Moonton.
Eight teams will fight for six weeks in the regular season. In the playoffs, the top six teams will fight for a hefty prize pool and a slot in the upcoming M5 World Championship to be held in the Philippines later this year.
This is the fifth season since the league became franchise-based.
Tournament format
The regular season is played in a double-round robin, best-of-three format. Teams then earn points depending on the results of each match.
- Three points for a 2-0 score
- Two points for a 1-0 score
- One point for a 0-1 score
- No points for a 0-2 score
The top six teams with the most points will proceed to the playoffs.
The playoffs will have a hybrid elimination format.
In the first round, teams seeded from third to sixth will compete in a single-elimination contest. Meanwhile, the first and second-placed teams will start in the second round on a double-elimination format.
Each match throughout the playoffs, except for the grand final, will be determined through a best-of-five format. The ultimate championship match will be decided in a best-of-seven series.
