Putting things in perspective, the prize pool for MSC 2023 last year was US$300,000.

The prestigious M5 World Championship, which previously held the title for having the largest prize pool in MLBB, had a US$900,000 prize pool. Champion AP Bren received US$300,000.
Now, at MSC 2024, the winner takes home a whopping US$1,000,000, which is more than three times the total champion winnings of previous international MLBB tournaments.
The MSC 2024 prize pool even surpassed the League of Legends World Championship 2023 (Worlds 2023), one of the longest-running and most popular esports tournaments in the world, which has a US$2,225,000 prize pool.
More than six million people watched the Worlds 2023 grand final, where T1 beat Weibo Gaming 3-0, securing US$445,000.
This year’s MSC is part of the Esports World Cup, a multi-game esports tournament held annually, showcasing the best talent across various competitive gaming disciplines.
MSC 2024 takes place from June 28 to July 14, 2024.
