After months of speculation on who will replace Dexter “Exort” Martinez, a familiar face has returned. He will be adding firepower and veteran experience to the renewed Nexplay EVOS squad.
Former Omega Esports Jeniel “yellyHaze” Bata-Anon has been announced as Nexplay EVOS’ newest member and will take on the support role for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League PH Season 8 (MPL PH S8).

The news was confirmed on Nexplay Esports’ official Facebook page, where the team welcomed the 25-year-old support/tank player to the organization. “We’re looking forward to your next achievements with us!” they wrote.
He will play alongside John Paul “H2wo” Salonga, Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera, Renejay “Renejay” Barcase, and James “Jeymz” Gloria for the upcoming MPL PH S8, which will be run on a franchise-based model.
This also means that yellyHaze is now back under the guidance and supervision of MLBB personality, Setsuna “Akosi Dogie” Ignacio.

yellyHaze’s achievements in the Mobile Legends esports scene
YellHaze has a long list of achievements in the MLBB pro scene and is considered one of its pioneers.
He rose to prominence when he won the first-ever season of MPL PH and the first Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup in 2018 with Aether Esports.
He was also part of the Philippine delegation for the Southeast Asian Games 2019 where they snagged the gold medal in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang event.
