This marks a historic milestone for Team Liquid, who claims their first MPL ID championship since debuting in the MLBB esports scene earlier this year.

Along with the prestigious trophy, they secured the largest share of the US$336,500 prize pool and a coveted spot in the upcoming M6 World Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The teams traded blows across the first four games, tying 2-2 heading into game five. Both teams went for their signature picks, with RRQ securing a Beatrix, Bane, and Zhuxin combo, while Team Liquid opted for a team fight-centric lineup featuring Tigreal and Khaleed in the front line.

RRQ’s chemistry was on full display as they picked off multiple opponents in the early to mid-game, building a solid lead by late game.

At the 14-minute mark, RRQ eliminated four of Team Liquid’s members, breaking through their base for a swift victory.

In game six, Team Liquid fought back fiercely. Locking in Ling and Khaleed, they gained a team fight initiation edge against RRQ’s Irithel, Julian, and Faramis.

During a midlane push, Christian “Widy” Hartono’s Raging Sandstorm caught RRQ off guard, leading to Schevenko “Skylar” Tendean’s elimination and tying the series.

In game seven, Team Liquid ID picked Ling again and replaced the banned Khaleed with Terizla, while RRQ opted for a tankier lineup with Alpha, Barats, Faramis, and Mathilda.

The final game was a tense back-and-forth battle until the turning point at the 14-minute mark. After Team Liquid ID secured the Lord, they pushed top lane, with Aldhia “Aran” Aranda’s Terizla landing a Penalty Zone on four RRQ players.

This allowed the Lord to easily push through the base turret and head straight for the crystal. Despite RRQ’s efforts to clear the wave, Team Liquid focused all their attacks on the base, clinching the victory.

Team Liquid ID debuted in the MLBB esports scene by acquiring Aura Fire’s roster during MPL ID Season 13, marking the organization’s first step into the Mobile Legends competition.
