TheOhioBrothers have solidified their position as the top Mobile Legends: Bang Bang team in North America.
This is after they achieved a dominant 4-0 victory over Avalon during the North America Challenger Cup Fall 2023 grand final, qualifying in both the M5 World Championship and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Invitational 2023 (MPLI 2023).
The team is primarily made up of members from Team Outplay who competed at MSC 2023, complemented by the addition of the highly acclaimed Filipino player, ZIA.

TheOhioBrothers will represent North America in both M5 and MPLI 2023
Throughout the playoffs, TheOhioBrothers displayed an impressive performance by not losing a single match. They swept both Area77 and BloodThirstyKings in the upper bracket to advance to the grand final.
Avalon took the longer route. They dropped their first series in upper bracket semifinal, losing to BloodThirstyKings.
In the lower bracket, they overcame Area77 and BloodThirstyKings once again to earn their spot in the final showdown against TheOhioBrothers.
The first two games of the series were complete blowouts, with TheOhioBrothers securing overwhelming victories, boasting kill scores of 22-3 and 18-6, respectively.
However, the third game took an unexpected turn when Avalon introduced a surprising draft, picking Wanwan and Jungle Guinevere, which were unconventional choices within the current meta. TOB, in contrast, opted for a lineup of tanky heroes like Martis, Franco, and Arlott.
The first 10 minutes of the match were a seesaw battle with no team clearly establishing a dominant lead.
In the late game, momentum started to shift when Carlos “bestplayer1” Vega’s Martis from TheOhioBrothers secured the Enhanced Lord at the 13-minute mark. This critical moment eventually led to a match point for TOB.
TheOhioBrothers sealed the grand final series in style with an impressive 21-5 kill score in just 10 minutes, delivering a resounding victory. ZIA emerged as the standout player of the match, achieving a flawless 10/0/7 KDA on Bruno.
