When does M6 Wildcard start?
The M6 Wildcard stands as an intense prelude to the M6 World Championship, unfolding just days before the main event.
In this high-stakes tournament, eight teams will clash, each vying for a single, prized slot in the M6 Swiss Stage.
Leading the pack this year is RRQ Akira, widely regarded as one of Brazil’s strongest teams and a powerhouse in the Western region.
With an impressive five-title winning streak—four in MPL Brazil and their most recent in the inaugural season of MPL Latam—RRQ Akira has kept a consistent roster, thrilling fans with explosive plays and crowd-favorite status.
Challenging them is Turkey’s Fire Flux Esports, a formidable force known for their impressive showings on the international stage, including a third-place finish at Games of the Future 2024.
Their seasoned lineup and battle-tested tactics make them a strong contender for the top spot.
At the same time, debuting teams from non-MPL regions are ready to make their mark. Mongolia’s The MongolZ and China’s DFYG could very well shake up the competition, bringing fresh talent and unpredictable strategies to the Wildcard stage.
The Wildcard takes place from November 21 to 24, 2024.
The M6 Swiss Stage runs from November 28 to December 5, 2024. After a two-day break, the Knockout Stage picks up from December 7 to 14, 2024, leading to the grand final on December 15, 2024.
