If you were to ask who’s the most iconic Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League player in Indonesia, chances are many would say RRQ Hoshi’s M. “Lemon” Ikhsan.
He decided to take a break in MPL ID Season 8 having competed since Season 1. RRQ Hoshi did well in the regular season, but came up short in the grand final against ONIC Esports.
Now that the ONE Esports’ MPL Invitational 2021 (MPLI 2021) is right around the corner, fans are wondering if he’ll make a comeback in the prestigious event.
RRQ Hoshi’s manager sheds light on whether Lemon will play in MPLI 2021 or still remain inactive
In an interview with ONE Esports ahead of MPLI 2021, RRQ Hoshi’s manager Bramanthyo “Bram” Rinaldy talks about the possibility of Lemon playing in the tournament.
“I don’t think so because if Lemon wanted to come back, he would have talked to Acil (the organization’s head coach),” he said “We don’t know what the outcome will be.”
In short, we might not see the star player in MPLI 2021, unless RRQ Hoshi decides to put him in the lineup at the last minute before the finalization of rosters.

RRQ Hoshi Lemon’s legacy in MPL ID
Lemon has been a driving force in Indonesia’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang scene. Being an integral of part of the King of King’s historic championship run in MPL ID Season 2, Season 5, and Season 6, his credentials speak for themselves.
He is also one of the most followed Mobile Legends personalities in social media. On his YouTube page, he has over four million subscribers, and all of his gameplay videos garner millions of views.
There’s a slim chance that Lemon will play in MPLI 2021, but hopefully he makes his most-awaited return either in the M3 World Championship or MPL ID Season 9.
