But what exactly makes the Winter Crown a game-changer, and why are players both excited and cautious about its arrival?
Let’s dive into the details and explore how this frosty addition could alter the games in the Land of Dawn.
Winter Crown stats and active effects
Winter Crown provides both offensive and defensive stats:
- +45 Adaptive Attack
- +400 HP
- +5% Cooldown Reduction
Its predecessor, Winter Truncheon, has long been a staple item in many builds due to its versatility and utility. Its removal naturally raises questions about why Moonton would replace such a widely-used item.
The answer lies in the enhanced effects of its unique Active skill, Frozen, which offers even greater strategic advantages during battles.
Upon activation, the user becomes frozen for two seconds, during which they cannot be targeted and are immune to all damage. The user cannot move or perform skills while frozen.
However, the main difference is that any skills activated before freezing will continue their effects uninterrupted. This means that you can play more aggressively in fights.

This new effect of the Frozen skill is particularly potent for heroes with offensive channeling skills.
You can use Claude‘s Blazing Duet ultimate and negate any attempt by the enemy to disrupt the skill. Likewise, you can activate Odette‘s Swan Song, or Alice‘s Blood Ode without worrying about being inflicted with crowd control.
Other heroes who benefit from using Winter Crown are Chou and Silvanna.
When you activate The Way of Dragon and find yourself under enemy turrets, you can activate Frozen, which allows you to turn immune to tower attacks while still dealing damage to your target.
The same thing goes for Silvanna. When you jump using the Imperial Justice and cast the Spiral Strangling ability, you can activate Frozen to deal massive AOE damage without receiving any crowd control from the enemy.
