The Mugen Train arc continues directly from the end of season 1, following Tanjiro Kamado and his group of young Demon Slayers as they embark on a mission to assist Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku in investigating a series of disappearances occurring on the Mugen Train.
The movie showcased the battle between the Demon Slayer Corp and members of the Demon King Muzan Kibutsuji‘s Twelve Demon Moons.
This movie shattered records and solidified its place in history as the highest-grossing anime film of all time.
It was the first time Demon Slayer fans saw the Mugen Train arc’s anime adaptation from the manga before it was released in season 2.
To the Swordsmith Village

Despite being a bridge between the Entertainment arc finale of season 2 and season 3’s Swordsmith Village arc premiere, the movie garnered significant attention and financial success.
