Overwatch’s newest hero is a mad scientist

Meet Sigma, a gravity-obsessed astrophysicist and Overwatch‘s latest hero.

Blizzard recently released a the two-minute video, where fans got a sneak peek into the mind of Sigma — how it’s filled with formulas, force fields, the idea of freedom and imprisonment, and even a mysterious melody which Sigma claims to have come from the whole of universe.

At one point in the video, Sigma is seen with five other members of terrorist organization Talon, namely Reaper, Doomfist, Sombra, Widowmaker, and Moira. What could his significance be in the midst of these villains?

The end of the clip showed Sigma’s actual model in-game, wearing a protective teal suit while harnessing what seemed to be two geometrical orbs.

Sigma is the 31st hero introduced in the first-person shooter game Overwatch right after support hero Baptiste. No release dates have been confirmed but the trailer promises that this hero to be available on the game client soon.
