This deck runs exclusively on Darkness Energy.
This Darkrai deck boasts two deadly advantages. A perfect opening hand allows Weavile and Darkrai to unleash a devastating one-turn knockout against nearly any Basic Pokemon.
Furthermore, the deck efficiently delivers high damage output with very little investment, allowing it to quickly overwhelm opponents.

They can’t knock you out if you beat them to the punch, right?
This deck’s signature 90 damage wombo combo leverages the synergy between Weavile, Darkrai, and the new Dawn Trainer card for a devastating effect. Here’s how it works:
- Have Weavile in the active spot, and Darkrai on the bench.
- Attach a Darkness Energy onto Darkrai to trigger his Ability and damage the opponent’s active Pokemon for 20 Damage.
- Use Dawn to transfer the Darkness Energy from Darkrai to Weavile and attack.
- Profit.
This combo makes use of both Darkrai and Weaviles unique gimmicks. Whenever energy is attached onto Darkrai, regardless of whether it’s on the bench or in the active spot, it’ll deal 20 damage to the opponent’s active Pokemon.
Weavile, on the other hand, has a unique ability with its attack. Attacking a Pokemon that has already taken damage will boost its attack from a measly 30 damage to a whopping 70 damage, all while only costing one Darkness Energy.
The new Cyrus trainer card is another wonderful addition to this deck as it also takes advantage of injured Pokemon. Make sure to use Cyrus to pull injured benched Pokemon into the active spot to finish them off!
This deck is all about hitting your opponents hard and fast. It doesn’t wait for an opening; it creates one.
