Pokemon TCG Pocket has announced its latest expansion called the Space-Time Smackdown pack. This set features two booster packs that highlight Generation IV pocket monsters, Dialga and Palkia, in their EX forms.
These two legendary Pokemon from the Sinnoh region dominate the battlefield with their control over time and space.

In addition to these legendaries, fans can look forward to collecting starter Pokemon like Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup, fan-favorites like Lucario, as well as rarer cards like Pachirisu EX, Leafeon, Honchkrow, and Cynthia.
A preview shared on Pokemon’s social media channels gave fans a sneak peek into the exciting contents of the Space-Time Smackdown pack.
Space-Time Smackdown pack release date: When can you play Pokemon TCG Pocket’s newest expansion?
The Space-Time Smackdown pack features over 140 cards, including other EX cards, new Trainer cards, immersive cards, and more.
You can also find basic Pokemon like Gible and Cresselia in this pack.
New binder and display board covers featuring Dialga and Palkia, along with the mythical Pokemon Darkrai, are also available.

The Space-Time Smackdown pack release date is on January 29 or 30, 2025, depending on your location. Starting that day, trainers worldwide can collect new Space-Time Smackdown cards by opening booster packs or using the Wonder Pick feature.

Additionally, the highly anticipated trading feature becomes available starting January 28, 2025. This feature enables players to trade specific cards with each other, making the collection process more convenient and fun.
To trade cards, players must use Trade Hourglasses and Tokens. Initially, trading is limited to cards with a rarity of 1-diamond to 4-diamond and 1-star and includes select cards from the Genetic Apex and Mythical Island expansions. The ability to trade additional cards is planned for future updates.
Space-Time Smackdown is the third expansion set for the game, coming after Genetic Apex and Mythical Island.
In 2024, the developers revealed plans for significant updates to the game, including new booster packs and a trading system.
