From March 14 to 16, 2025, Into the Arcane Tactician’s Crown assembles the best TFT players, comprising the top 40 competitors across four major regions.

The top 40 players are split into starting lobbies based on a snake draft selection process which was introduced in the Magic n’ Mayhem Tactician’s Crown.
Points earned throughout the event will be awarded to each player based on the results of each game:

Into the Arcane Tactician’s Crown format and event schedule
Day 1
- On Day 1, 40 players are drawn into five starting lobbies and play six games.
- The lobbies shuffle after every two games.
- After Game 6, the top 32 players advance to Day 2, while the bottom eight players are eliminated.
Day 2
- On Day 2, players retain their points from Day 1.
- The 32 players are split into four lobbies and play two games.
- After Game 2, the top 24 players advance, and the bottom eight players are eliminated.
- Next, the 24 players are split into three lobbies and play two more games.
- After Game 4, the top 16 players advance, and the bottom eight players are eliminated.
- Finally, the 16 players are split into two lobbies and play three games. The lobbies shuffle after two games.
- After Game 7, the top eight players advance to the Grand Final.
Day 3
- The Grand Final follows a Checkmate Format.
- The first player to reach 20 points and then secure a first-place finish is crowned the Into the Arcane champion.
Into the Arcane Tactician’s Crown slot distribution
The Magic n’ Mayhem Tactician’s Crown has determined the seed distribution for Into the Arcane Tactician’s Crown.
The APAC region boasts the highest number of seeds with 12. This allocation includes one seed awarded for winning the previous Tactician’s Crown and another earned through exceptional regional performance.
The Chinese region secures 10 seeds, while the EMEA and Americas regions are tied with nine seeds each.
Into the Arcane Tactician’s Crown prize pool
The top 40 players are guaranteed to walk away with a share of the US$470,000 prize pool. The Into the Arcane Tactician’s Crown champion takes home US$150,000.
