Surprise! We’re getting a major Into the Arcane TFT Set 13 update that introduces something we’ve never seen before — 6-cost units.
Drawing parallels with evolution of characters in the animated series, Riot Games is pushing the boundaries of Teamfight Tactics too.
Players would’ve noticed that when Teamfight Tactics: Into the Arcane was first released, some key characters were missing from the set — and as it turns out, it was all intentional.
What to expect from Into the Arcane TFT Set 13 update
Three incredibly powerful 6-cost champions are ready to join the Convergence. And just like in Arcane, they’re set to shake up the game.
6-COST UNIT | TRAIT | ABILITIES |
Mel | Brandished Mage | Mel is at the peak of her power, dashing around the battlefield, reducing damage to allies, and unleashing stored damage. After casting her ability enough, she’ll shield your Tactician from death. |
Viktor | Machine Herald | A glorious, extremely tall evolved Viktor fires his death ray instead of auto-attacking, can stun entire boards, and will make everyone a believer—whether they like it or not. |
Warwick | Blood Hunter/Experiement | He jumps around, executing units, and as soon as a few have died, Warwick enters a frenzied state, becoming unstoppable, ripping enemies apart with increased damage and omnivamp. |
