Tekken’s hype meter is reaching a new level with the recent reveal of Reina as the final character in the Tekken 8 base roster.
Unveiled during a special EVO showcase, Reina brings a fresh and intriguing dynamic to the iconic fighting game series, closing the chapter on roster announcements and setting the stage for what promises to be an epic gaming experience.
Reina fighting style in Tekken 8

What sets Reina apart is her adoption of the Mishima Style Karate, a martial art closely associated with the iconic family in the Tekken universe.
While characters like Asuka align more closely with Jun and Jin Kazama, Reina appears to channel the ferocity and power reminiscent of Kazuya and Heihachi Mishima. Her fighting style exudes a mean streak, hinting at a deeper connection to the Mishima bloodline. The revelation of Reina’s history with Jin and Kazuya only adds more layers to her character, leaving fans speculating about her role in the overarching narrative of Tekken 8.
