Bleed Esports has made significant changes to their Valorant roster early into the 2024 VCT season.
On March 8, the Singaporean esports organization added former DRX star Kim “Zest” Ki-seok and former Bleed player Jorell “Retla” Teo to its active roster, replacing Ngo “crazyguy” Cong Anh and Javier “Egoist” Chua.

The changes came after the team’s VCT Pacific Kickoff run, where they finished 10th-11th place.
Bleed Esports signs former DRX in-game leader Zest and newcomer Retla

The decision to bring in Zest and Retla comes after their debut performance at the VCT Kickoff tournament, where Bleed fell short against T1 and Global Esports.
As a result, Bleed moved crazyguy to the team’s bench, while Egoist was released from the roster.

Zest, a seasoned veteran in the Valorant scene, boasts an impressive track record, having been part of the dominant Vision Strikes and DRX teams.
He was the initiator main of the team when Vision Strikers ran their historic 104-game win streak in 2021.
While playing under the DRX banner, Zest was part of the Korean squad that qualified for all Valorant international LANs in 2022 and 2023 seasons.

Retla is a familiar face within the Bleed organization, having competed under their banner in 2022.
His consistent performance at the tier-two level has earned him a well-deserved opportunity to compete professionally, making him a promising prospect for the team.
Bleed management has emphasized their commitment to closely monitoring the performance of all players to ensure that the final roster is well-suited and prepared for the challenges of the upcoming VCT Pacific league.
