French CS:GO superstar Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut shocked the viewers of O’Gaming’s Underdogs tournament, when he joined Valorant team L’institut as a substitute player for Kévin “Ex6TenZ” Droolans, who was unable to join the competition.

During the tournament, ZywOo aided the French squad in making it into the playoffs as the team’s Omen main. ZywOo is considered one of the best CS:GO players in the world today. And he showed FPS fans that his skills can transition to Valorant quite well after he scored an Ace against ROG Esports.

ZywOo and L’institut would only finish in third/fourth place at the tournament. But, considering how ZywOo had carried his team to win the Intel Extreme Masters XV Beijing Online Europe a week before, the French FPS superstar is clearly building a reputation of being the John Wick of FPS shooters.

It’s hard to imagine what ZywOo would be able to accomplish if he made the switch to Valorant — which is highly unlikely considering how well he’s been playing in CS:GO tournaments recently. But if his grand finals performance against Natus Vincere – in which he single-handedly turned the tide against the CIS juggernaut team in an important pistol round – is anything to go by, the sky’s the limit for his Valorant pro career.
