Valorant’s 23rd agent Deadlock is a sentinel equipped with a versatile toolkit that enables her to trap and control her adversaries effectively.
Out of all the abilities in her toolkit, the Deadlock ultimate called Annihilation is a game changer. This particular ability is an important tool that has the potential to change the outcome of crucial rounds.
After triggering Annihilation, teams will be in a scenario where they must respond quickly to avoid being put in a disadvantageous position.
Here’s everything you need to know about Deadlock’s Annihilation ultimate.
How does the Deadlock ultimate work?
When the ultimate is activated, it will unleash a pulse of nanowires that will capture the first enemy it comes into contact with.
The cocooned target will be dragged along a designated nanowire route. If the captured agent reaches the end of this path without being rescued, they will perish.
The most important point is that the nanowire cocoon is destructive, which we explain in more detail in the next section.
Annihilation is a powerful tool for defenders who can get an easy pick-off against lurkers. The ultimate could also impact rounds if defenders use it against the attacking team’s spike carrier or spike planter.
The ultimate is also useful for attackers because it forces defenders to come out of hiding to save their teammates.
How many bullets does it take to destroy the Deadlock ultimate?
ONE Esports directly found out from Riot Games that the Annihilation cocoon possesses 600 HP.
And so, how many bullets do you need to free your teammates?
