North American veteran coach Chet Singh has announced that he has officially retired from competitive CS:GO, and is presently making the switch to professional Valorant.
100 Thieves shared an announcement on parting ways with Singh, after the team’s most recent runner-up finish during the ESL Pro League Season 12: North America. The organization explained that Singh is making the move to Valorant after his five-year tenure as a CS:GO coach.

Singh started his CS:GO career as an analyst for Counter Logic Gaming (CLG), eventually moving his way up to team coach in 2016. He would then continue his coaching career with notable North American esports organizations OpTic Gaming and NRG Esports.
But Singh is really best known for helping Evil Geniuses dominate the entire CS:GO scene in late 2019, when the team won ESL One: New York 2019 and StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 8. These tournaments awarded the team a grand total of US$350,000 in prize money.
There is still no information on which team Singh will sign with next. But it’s noted that he will be a high-profile signing, especially since Riot’s First Strike tournament is ready to push Valorant competitions to the next level.
