NAVI reunites the championship-winning team of Masters Copenhagen 2022 under their prestigious esports banner.
The Ukrainian esports organization officially announced the departure of Mehmet “cNed” Yağız İpek. The Turkish player will be replaced by former NRG Esports star Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks.
Ardiis and the rest of NAVI’s Valorant roster were members of the renowned FunPlus Phoenix squad, one of the top teams in the EMEA region throughout 2022.
NAVI reunites ardiis and his former FPX teammates
Ardiis and the rest of his former FPX teammates spent the VCT 2023 season playing in different regions.
After departing from FPX after the VCT 2022 season, adriis joined NRG Esports and moved to the Americas region. Meanwhile, four members of FPX’s Valorant roster were signed by Natus Vincere before the start of the VCT 2023 season.
In 2022, Natus Vincere tied for 3rd place at VCT LOCK//IN. NRG achieved 5th-8th place at the same event in São Paulo, Brazil.
Before ardiis parted ways with his FPX teammates, they were considered one of the best Valorant teams in the world. In 2022, they emerged victorious in the VCT EMEA Stage 1 Challengers and clinched the runner-up spot in the subsequent VCT EMEA Stage 2 Challengers.
FPX achieved victory at Masters Copenhagen 2022 by defeating Paper Rex 3-2 in the grand final. They concluded the year on a high note, securing a fourth-place finish at Valorant Champions 2022.
Natus Vincere’s reunited roster will begin their VCT 2024 season run in the EMEA League.
