The VCT Pacific Stage 2 Groups were determined right after the finals on May 11, 2025 through a draw.
RRQ, champion of VCT Pacific Stage 1, finds itself in the Alpha Group, a bracket already labeled the “Group of Death” given its high density of top-tier teams.
Based on Stage 1 standings, the top six seeds were strategically distributed into separate groups, ensuring no team remained in their previous stage’s group. Consequently, RRQ, as the top seed, landed in Alpha Group, while BOOM Esports, the second seed, joined Omega Group.
Paper Rex and Nongshim RedForce, both top-four finishers in Stage 1, alongside Team Secret and DetonatioN FocusMe, were also allocated to different groups compared to their Stage 1 placements.
