New Valorant mobile features including advanced training mode and replay system
Leaked test footage for Valorant mobile, shared on September 8, 2024, on X (formerly known as Twitter), revealed an advanced training mode that tells players how to execute a proper jump peek.
Jump peeking is a valuable technique for revealing an enemy’s position by quickly jumping around a corner and back into cover. It draws out the enemy team to fire. It is an advanced maneuver that many beginners might not know, but is critical in high-level play.
One of the most effective uses of jump peeking is to bait out an enemy using an Operator, alerting the team to a sniper’s presence. It is also useful in post-plant scenarios, where it forces defenders off a spike defuse as the timer counts down.
In the PC version of Valorant, players typically had to learn how to jump-peeking through live matches, as the practice range bots didn’t fire back. However, Valorant mobile could offer the ability to practice this move in the advanced training mode, allowing players to refine the technique before using it in a game.
Additionally, the leaked footage on X showed the new replay system, a feature that PC players highly requested. Beyond reviewing previous games to evaluate their gameplay and performance, the replay system would enable players to spot potential cheaters or hackers in their matches.
Riot Games had previously mentioned that a replay feature for Valorant was in development, though no official release date had been provided.
Valorant mobile remains in development, with no confirmed release date.
