Who is Valorant agent Vyse?

Vyse is a sentinel agent in Valorant and a specialist in control and isolation. She manipulates liquid metal and forces enemies to rethink their positioning and strategies. Riot Games describes her gameplay as akin to setting a spider’s web — once enemies are caught, she delivers the killing blow.

Arc Rose (E)

Vyse equips an Arc Rose, which can be placed on any surface. The Arc Rose remains hidden until triggered, blinding all enemies looking at it when activated.

This ability stands out because of its versatility — Vyse can pick it up and redeploy it as needed, providing both defensive and offensive opportunities.

The ability to place it through walls creates potential for highly strategic setups, ensuring enemies are caught off guard when attempting to push through tight areas.

Shear (Q)

With Shear, Vyse deploys filaments of liquid metal that form an invisible wall trap. When an enemy crosses this trap, a solid, indestructible wall emerges behind them, cutting off their escape route and leaving them vulnerable.

This wall remains for a limited time, forcing players to engage with Vyse or regroup. It’s a powerful tool for isolating individual players from their team, creating the opportunity for devastating follow-up plays.

Razorvine (C)

Razorvine enables Vyse to throw a hidden nest of liquid metal that becomes invisible upon landing. When triggered, it expands into a large, thorny area that slows and damages anyone who moves through it.

Razorvine is ideal for controlling choke points, forcing enemies to take alternative routes, slowing down enemy advances, or punishing them for careless movement.

Steel Garden — ultimate ability (X)

Vyse’s ultimate, Steel Garden, unleashes a torrent of metal thorns that erupt from her location. This ability jams the primary weapons of enemies caught in its area of effect after a brief wind-up.

It disrupts the enemy team’s ability to fight back and forces them to use their secondary weapon. Steel Garden can turn the tide of a fight by temporarily disabling key enemy players, allowing Vyse’s team to capitalize on the disruption.
