A cryptic clue about Valorant agent 26 has appeared on the Abyss map.
Introduced with patch 9.02 on July 31, 2024, a strange transformation has occurred to one of the map’s inactive teleporters.
Now covered in vines and containing an unidentified object, this anomaly has ignited speculation about the new Valorant agent.
The peculiar elements bear striking similarities to a certain League of Legends champion, fueling theories of a potential crossover.
Valorant agent 26 has similar abilities to League of Legends champion Zyra
The recent update to Valorant’s borderless map, Abyss, has introduced a mysterious change: one of the map’s teleporters is now covered in vines.
This unusual botanical growth has caught players’ attention, especially those familiar with League of Legends.
The striking resemblance of these vines to champion Zyra has fueled speculation about Valorant agent 26’s potential abilities.
Zyra, a champion known for her plant-based powers, is a formidable force on the Summoner’s Rift. Her ability to manipulate flora to control the battlefield could translate into a potent kit for a Valorant agent.
For instance, Deadly Spines could become a long-range area-of-effect ability, similar to a grenade that explodes into damaging thorns.
Grasping Roots could be reimagined as a line-of-sight ability that slows or roots enemies caught in its path. Stranglethorns might become a circular area-denial ultimate that damages and disorients enemies within its radius.
If Valorant agent 26 has similar abilities to Zyra, we could see a new duelist with devastating floral attacks or a sentinel capable of controlling the map with botanical barriers and traps.
While it’s purely speculative, the connection between the Abyss anomaly and Zyra is interesting and has certainly ignited excitement for what’s to come.
The official unveiling of Valorant agent 26 is expected to take place during Valorant Champions 2024, taking place from August 1 to August 25, 2024.
