Team Vitality will be hosting the Vitality European Open this weekend.

The tournament’s 128-team single-elimination open qualifier has just concluded, and we now know which squads have emerged as the best Valorant rosters in Europe thus far.

G2 Esports is headlining the competition, with a stellar roster led by Oscar “mixwell” Cañellas Colocho.

Another team that deserves to be mentioned is Prodigy, whose roster consists of Ninyas in Pyjamas’ two new Valorant roster signings, Niels “luckeRRR” Jasiek and Emir “rhyme” Muminovic.

These teams will be divided into two groups of four going into the group stage portion of the event, taking place on July 10 and 11.

They will then be seeded into a double-elimination bracket on the final day (July 12), using a best-of-five format to determine the overall winner. The teams will also be competing for a €15,000 (approximately US$16,800) prize pool.

According to the event’s official page, the tournament will double up as a “tryout for the official Vitality Valorant team.” Considering how talented Team Vitality’s CS:GO roster is, with veteran players like Dan “apEX” Madesclaire, Cedric “RpK” Guipouy, Richard “shox” Papillon, and superstar talent Mathieu “ZywOo” Harbaut, Vitality’s Valorant roster will definitely help shape the competitive scene in Europe.

Fans will be able to tune in for the main event on Team Vitality’s Twitch channel.
