Akrew Valorant head coach Preston “Juv3nile” Dornon is reportedly in talks to join TSM, according to Dot Esports’ George Geddes.
After failing to qualify for the VCT NA Stage 1 Challengers Main Event, TSM’s Vice President of Esports, Dominic Kallas, announced that they would be taking another look at the team’s roster to decide how best to move forward.
Juv3nile supposedly led the team in TSM’s recent match against Zero MarksMen Silver in the YFP Winter Classic tournament.

Juv3nile may be joining TSM as Valorant coach
TSM has come under fire for missing out on the Stage 1 Challengers Main Event. The team lost to Juv3nile’s Akrew in the lower bracket in January, which put an end to their run in the first open qualifier.
There’s no news yet on whether the organization’s current coach, Andrew “aRubyz” Seewer, will remain in his position, or if he’ll be stepping down.
Juv3nile is a former professional Overwatch, Call of Duty, and CS:GO player. He helped Akrew achieve one of the most impressive records in Valorant last year, where they went on a 34-game win streak in the Nerd Street Gamers Winter Championship opens, before eventually losing to Cloud9.
TSM may be looking to tap into some of the strategies behind this rising team. The North American organization is focusing on smaller, regional tournaments now, as they remain out of Riot’s official VCT circuit until the open qualifiers for VCT NA Stage 2 start in May.
The team just took a series 2-0 against a T1 roster led by Joshua “steel” Nissan in the YFP Winter Classic. They are also set to compete in the Knights Monthly Gauntlet, which the newly overhauled 100 Thieves roster is also playing in.
