The Valorant Champions 2023 bundle has collectively made over US$20 million for the 16 teams that made it into this year’s Valorant world championship in Los Angeles, California.
Like previous Champions bundles, the revenue is split evenly between Riot Games and participating teams.
This is a 20 percent increase in total revenue for teams compared to last year’s Champions bundle, said John Needham, Riot Games’ President of Esports.
Valorant Champions 2023 bundle collects over US$20 million for 16 qualified teams
All teams that made it to Valorant Champions 2023 will split their share of the bundle sales, leading each team to take home at least US$1.25 million.
This means that every participating team in Valorant Champions 2023 has already earned more than the first-place winner, considering the tournament’s grand prize is US$1 million. The overall prize pool for Valorant Champions 2023 amounts to US$2.25 million.
The bundle was released in the in-game store on August 4, priced at 6,265 VP or approximately US$60. Players who bought the bundle received a player card, spray, buddy, and two skins – the Vandal and melee. Both skins feature visual and audio effects.
The Valorant Champions 2023 bundle is still available until August 29, so teams could earn more in the coming days.
Valorant Champions 2023 will hold its finals weekend on August 24 to 26, with the four remaining teams competing to become the next world champion.
