Valorant Champions 2023 is the most important tournament of the VCT season.

The event showcases 16 of the top Valorant teams from around the world, coming together in Los Angeles, California, from August 6 to 26. Their ultimate goal is to be crowned this year’s Valorant world champions.

All three major regions — Pacific, Americas, and EMEA — fly out four representatives to the United States. In addition, since Fnatic won Masters Tokyo, they earned their region an additional slot for the event.

The international league teams attending the event will be joined by three teams from China, who earned their spot through the VCT China Qualifier.

Here’s everything you need to know about Valorant Champions 2023, including its schedule, results, standings, format, teams, and where to watch the tournament.

It is the third and final global LAN event of the VCT 2023 season. It is the biggest event of the year and the culminating tournament of the Valorant Champions Tour that all teams have been working toward.

Teams qualified for the event through the VCT international leagues, Masters Tokyo placements, and the Last Chance Qualifier.

After the VCT Americas grand final, the 16 teams were divided into four groups during the live group stage draws.

The seeding for Champions was determined by the placement performance of teams that attended Masters Tokyo compared to other regional teams. Meanwhile, LCQ teams will represent the lower regional seeds.

All four groups will play in a double-elimination format, with all matches played are best of three. The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs.

The bracket stage (playoffs) will be double elimination. All playoff matches will be a best-of-three, except for the lower bracket final and grand final, which will be a best-of-five.

The tournament will be played on Valorant patch 7.02, and the new sentinel agent Deadlock will be available for play during the event.
