The 2024 Valorant Champions tour season is commencing around the world, and the VCT Americas Kickoff event is almost here.
With the Americas region having won two of the last three Champions events, the region is ready to look for another trophy for their cabinet.

The VCT Americas Kickoff Tour will see teams facing off in a bid to qualify for Masters Madrid and circuit points for the year.
VCT Americas Kickoff format
The event will commence with a GSL stage where the 11 teams of the region have been drawn into 3 groups. As a result of winning Champions 2023, Evil Geniuses was automatically placed as the top seed within Group C, the smallest group consisting of 3 teams.
Each group will feature a double elimination bracket with best-of-three games. The winning team of each group will move on to the Playoff Stage. The second-placing team of each group will head to the Play-In Stage.
VCT Americas Kickoff Play-ins
In the play-ins stage, the final team to qualify for the playoffs will be determined through a round-robin format, where the three second-place teams will compete against each other.
VCT Americas Kickoff Playoffs
All four teams will compete through a single elimination bracket. The two teams who make it to the finals will secure their place at Masters Madrid.
The Kickoff winner will receive preferential seeding at Masters Madrid and three Championship Points towards their qualification to Champions. You can check out how Champions points work for 2024 here.
VCT Americas Kickoff Schedule
Matches for the group stage will commence on February 16 at 6 a.m. GMT+8 | 7 a.m. KST | 2 p.m. PT | 10 p.m. GMT.
The play-ins will take place in one day on February 26 to decide the final team to qualify for the playoffs at 4 a.m. GMT+8 | 5 a.m. KST | 12 p.m. PT | 8 p.m. GMT.
The playoffs are on March 2 and 3, with the matches starting at 6 a.m. GMT+8 | 7 a.m. KST | 2 p.m. PT | 10 p.m. GMT.
