The VCT APAC Stage 2 Challengers is set to kick off its first phase of competition with the Play-ins stage.
Over the past weeks, the best Valorant teams from across Southeast Asia have been competing in their respective local tournaments for a chance to advance to the upcoming APAC event in June.
The stakes couldn’t be any higher. The top two teams from the APAC Stage 2 Playoffs will represent the Asia-Pacific region at VCT Stage 2 Masters Copenhagen in July.
What is the VCT APAC Stage 2 Challengers Play-ins?
The multi-regional competition features the top teams from Southeast Asia, Oceania, and South Asia. VCT APAC Stage 2 Challengers consists of three phases: the Play-ins, Main Event, and Knockouts.
The Play-ins feature teams from Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam that finished third in their respective Stage 2 Challengers competitions. The tournament also includes three teams from Vietnam, South Asia, and Hong Kong and Taiwan that finished second in their qualifier tournaments.
Out of the eight teams, the top four will advance to the VCT APAC Stage 2 Challengers Main Event (also known as the group stage).

Eight teams will play in a GSL format with the top two teams from each group proceeding to the next phase.
