The VCT North America Last Chance Qualifier will be exciting to watch. With the conclusion of VCT Stage 1 and 2, eight teams have earned the right to compete for a spot in Valorant Champions Istanbul.
The VCT NA LCQ will headline Sentinels’ new roster featuring popular Twitch streamer Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek, who is returning to pro play after four years as a fulltime content creator.
Shroud will be teaming up with the Masters Reykjavik 2021 champions, including Tyson “TenZ” Ngo and Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan, who are dead set on returning to the VCT’s global stage.
The tournament also includes other top-performing teams from the North American region: The Guard, Shopify Rebellion, Cloud9, FaZe Clan, Evil Geniuses, NRG Esports, and 100 Thieves.
The eight teams in the VCT NA LCQ are looking to join OpTic Gaming and XSET as North America’s representatives in Valorant Champions Istanbul.
No team can be overlooked in the LCQ. Even Evil Geniuses, who looked lackluster in Stage 1, appear revitalized now with an impressive group stage showing that included a win over OpTic Gaming.
What is the VCT North America Last Chance Qualifier?
The VCT NA LCQ will be the last tournament for North American teams to claim the final spot at Valorant Champions Istanbul.
Behind OpTic Gaming and XSET are eight teams with the most VCT circuit points. These teams will get one more shot at Champions in the VCT NA LCQ, where they will battle for the final regional spot in Riot Games’ Valorant world championship.
