VCT Pacific Kickoff is done and dusted and we’re now experiencing the new VCT Pacific 2025 Stage 1 format.
Fans get to see Masters Bangkok tournament winner T1 compete again as VCT Pacific 2025 Stage 1 runs from March 22 to May 11, 2025.
There are eight-weeks in the Stage 1 season, which takes place at the Sangam SOOP Colosseum in Seoul, South Korea. DetonatioN FocusMe and Global Esports are playing in the opening match, followed by T1 and Zeta Division.
All you need to know about VCT Pacific 2025 Stage 1 format
Following the Kickoff phase, the twelve VCT Pacific teams are segmented into two groups of six, ranked by their initial performance.

Each group competes in a single round-robin format, with matches held on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays starting at 5 p.m. KST local time.
The top four teams from each group proceed to a double-elimination playoff stage.
- Group winners advance directly to the winner’s bracket semifinals
- Second and third-place teams begin in the winner’s bracket first round
- Fourth place teams begin in the loser’s bracket first round
Playoff matches are best-of-threes, except for the winner’s bracket final and grand final, which will be best-of-five. The top three playoff finishers will qualify for Masters Toronto.
After Masters Toronto, teams will resume regional league play in VCT Pacific Stage 2. The groups formed in Stage 1 will be reconfigured for Stage 2, with teams reassigned based on their final standings in the Stage 1 group stage.
