There will be no new map or agent in Valorant Episode 4 Act II, but that hasn’t stopped Riot Games from teasing what might be coming in the next Act.
A new Viper voice line and clues in the practice range provide hints as to who the new agent might be. On top of that, the new Battle Pass features a sinister-looking player card that could be another teaser for the agent.

The new agent in Valorant could be an initiator to rival Sova
Over the past months, the Valorant Protocol has had to contend with a mysterious blackmailer who hacked into Brimstone’s computer, threatening to expose their secrets to the world. Sova and Cypher have attempted to track him down, but to no avail.
New voice mail messages from Sova and Viper to Brimstone reveal that the Valorant Protocol is fighting a losing battle on two fronts – one with the blackmailer and the other with Mirror Earth.
Viper’s message is the most telling. “Brim, we can’t pull this off any longer. We need more scouts. You have to stop relying on Sova,” she said. “I know, you trust him, he’s capable. But he’s one man, and he’s exhausted.”
“Cypher’s network is invaluable, but it’s a crutch. It doesn’t replace our need for agents in the field. We’re losing, Brim. If we’re going to survive, we need more information. We need more eyes.”
This suggests that the next agent to join the Valorant roster could be an initiator with information-gathering capabilities that rival Sova.
There are even hints that it could be the blackmailer himself. The blackmailer is associated with the symbol of an eye in Brimstone’s office, which can also be found on the board outside the shooting range. The fact that Viper told Brimstone that they “need more eyes” appears too pointed a reference to ignore.
Furthermore, the new Hush player card in the Battle Pass features what looks like a giant red eye, complete with spindly arms that have more eyes on them. If Viper wants more eyes, she might be about to get a lot of them.
The Hush card is a free Chapter 10 reward. In the past, Riot has placed teaser cards for new agents at Tier 48, as it did with Killjoy and Skye, but it’s possible that it may have decided to switch things up a little.
There are even theories that the blackmailer could be Agent 8. There’s not a lot that we know about Agent 8 at this point, except the fact that they used to be a member of the Valorant Protocol and will be coming back as a playable agent at some point.
In the Warm Up cinematic for Episode 4, the number 8 locker beside Phoenix is scratched out, suggesting that Agent 8 departed the Valorant Protocol on less than friendly terms. As a former member of the team, it might also explain how he is able to evade being tracked, because he is familiar with how Sova and Cypher work.
