Call of Duty: Warzone is in chaos after the latest in-game event, Destruction of Verdansk, Part 1.
Just a few hours ago, players were able to experience an epilogue playlist that sets up the third season of Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. In the playlist, squads entered the map of Verdansk with only one task: to survive.
As the circle closed in, players who died came back as zombies to take their revenge on the remaining living participants. Once the lobby was completely infested with zombies, a cutscene played, in which a DEFCON nuke flew straight into Verdansk to obliterate the zombie threat.

In the aftermath, players can expect Season 3 of Cold War and Warzone to give us a new version of Verdansk along with an array of gameplay updates.
For now, Warzone players will only be able to play on the Rebirth Island map, leaving much of Verdansk’s current situation a mystery.
However, Call of Duty tweeted that eager fans should update their comms (console) at 9 p.m. PT (noon GMT+8, April 22) and return to Rebirth for updated instructions at 12 midnight PT (3 p.m. GMT+8).
