Update as of April 22: The Play-ins for WCS 2022 Finals has been extended from two days to three days, which will now take place from April 23 to 25.
A total of 11 teams, but only four will advance to the next stage — which Southeast Asian teams and regions will come out on top?
The Wild Rift Champions Southeast Asia Finals 2022 (WCS Finals 2022) will pit the best teams from Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia to determine SEA’s representatives for the first Icons Global Championship, happening later this year.
Teams will compete for a total of US$200,000 prize pool and a chance to advance to the Icons.

WCS Finals 2022 schedule
The tournament will run for about two weeks, starting on April 23 until May 8. Here is an overview of the WCS Finals 2022 schedule:

WCS Finals 2022 format
All second-placed teams from WCS Masters, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, and the champion of WR Oceania Championships will face off at the Play-In stage’s single round-robin, played in best-of-twos. The top team will advance directly to the Playoffs, while the second and third placed teams will play each other in a best-of-five to secure the remaining Playoffs spot.
Moving on to the Playoffs stage, the two teams from the Play-Ins will compete against the six WR Champions SEA sub-regional winners under a double elimination format. All matches will be played in best-of-fives, except for the lower bracket finals and grand finals which will be played in best-of-sevens.
The top four teams will advance to the Wild Rift Icons Global Championship, taking place in Europe this summer.
