We’ve already seen the debut of Chinese Wild Rift (WR) teams at the 2021 LPL Warm Up Cup. What about WR teams outside the franchise?
The Spark Invitational 2021 will show off the best Wild Rift teams outside the League of Legends Pro League (LPL) franchise and across Mainland China.
What is the Wild Rift Spark Invitational 2021?
The Spark Invitational 2021 is an offline Wild Rift tournament where 16 non-LPL teams will compete for a slot at the World Championship.
The tournament is organized by Tencent Games. It is the game’s first official LAN tournament, taking place at the Wild Rift Esports Stadium in China. It has the same venue as the Wild Rift Rivals 2021: LCK vs LPL Invitational.
Wild Rift Spark Invitational 2021 schedule and results
The Spark Invitational 2021 will run from August 17 to August 28.
The tournament’s Group Stage will take place from August 17 to August 22 while the Playoffs will go down from August 23 to August 26.
Spark Invitational 2021 will take a one-day break before proceeding to the Finals on August 28. All times and days are in GMT+8.

Format of the Wild Rift Spark Invitational 2021
The Group Stage will be in a round-robin format played in best-of-threes. The top two teams of each group will advance to the Playoffs.
The Playoffs will be in a single-elimination format played in best-of-fives.
The tournament will conclude with an epic best-of-seven series in the Finals.
