Wild Rift Summer Super Cup 2021: Format, schedule, results, standings, qualified teams

The first international League of Legends: Wild Rift tournament will take place very soon. A total of 16 teams from eight regions will be competing at the Wild Rift Summer Super Cup 2021.

The top two teams from each region will represent their country at the Wild Rift Summer Super Cup 2021. They will battle it out for a chance to be crowned Southeast Asia’s Wild Rift champion and the lion’s share of the US$150,000 prize pool.

Wild Rift Summer Super Cup 2021 Format

The group stage will be played in a double round robin format.

There are two rules that govern grouping: Firstly, only two number one seed teams are allowed in each group, and secondly, teams from the same region cannot be in the same group.

All 16 teams have been drawn into groups of four, where the top three teams will advance to the playoffs.

The playoffs will be played in a single-elimination format in best-of-five series.

The group champion will be seeded to the quarterfinals (second round of playoffs), while the second and third place team of each group will being their journey in the first round of playoffs.

The top eight teams will then advance to the quarterfinals.

The top four teams then advance to the semifinals, where they will fight for a spot in the final, while the losers of that round will compete for 3rd/4th placing.

Wild Rift Summer Super Cup 2021 schedule

The group stage will take place from June 19 to June 22, 2021.

The playoffs are scheduled from June 25 to June 27, 2021.

Broadcast will go live at 1:30 p.m. GMT+8, with the first match starting at 2:00 p.m.

The playoffs schedule is as follows:

June 25 – Quarterfinals qualifiers
June 26 – Quarterfinals
